COMSODE = Components Supporting the Open Data Exploitation
Components to support the maximum use of Open Data.

Goal of the project
The project is to create a flexible platform for the effective publication, provision, exchange and enrichment of Open Data, and defining related methodologies.
The Open Data Node (ODN) publishing platform supports processing, enrichment, publishing, and data exchange at an optimal quality. The platform is available as Open source software. It builds on the experience of publishing data in culture and the results of analogous projects. Thanks to our collaboration with the Linked Data LOD2 project, we are able to enrich the data with new ties. The platform is integrated with a powerful new generation search engine.
Creating a methodological framework for publishing Open Data, the methodology is designed with regard to its specific needs as well as public sector issues. It builds on the experience and realism in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy. This methodology can be used as a basis for departmental, municipal or national methodologies.
The results from the international “User group” and the pilot deployment of a sufficient number of datasets were verified. Within the project, at least 150 datasets (new data or quality improvements) should be published.
The goal for SR is to get as many data sets as possible from our institutions, focusing on self-governance, where there is a great potential for data interconnection and project outputs (software and methodology) to make them suitable for our environment.
The project aims, among other things, to provide a good basis for the implementation of Directive 2013/37 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 on the re-use of public sector information (PSI).
